HOW DOES IT WORK?
The laser beam is made up of precisely controlled pulses of energy; it is absorbed by the melanin or pigment in the hair and reaches into the hair follicles that lie beneath the skin. The energy heats the hair, right down to the bottom of the root, safely destroying it without damaging surrounding tissue or skin.
HOW OFTEN ARE SESSIONS NEEDED?
After a treatment the treated hairs take about 2 weeks to shed from the skin. Re-growth then usually occurs about 4 weeks later, so we recommend between 9-12 treatments about 5-6 weeks apart. This may vary depending on the treatment area.
